A 2023 Writing update

This year I have mostly been working on a science fiction novelette, turning a short piece I wrote and can’t let go of into a larger and more complex piece. I wrote about 20,000 words around three connected stories to do with climate change, and am penning the third and final piece hoping to go in to an anthology. I have been plotting and writing a number of novels also, but as these are quite large, I have been quiet.

I did have a couple of stories published online in AntipodeanSF this year and also as audio submissions in the AntipodeanSF Radio Show.

The latest version came out on the weekend called Martian Engineering, approximately 1963 words and fantastic that it was narrated by the awesome Tim Borella who did an excellent job at breathing life into the story. Check out his site here to see what he has been writing:
