Excited this morning to wake up to another UK publication acceptance by With Painted Words publisher Four Parts Press. They say that “a picture paints a thousand words” and With Painted Words put that to the test each month with a picture. The premise is that, each month, an image will be given as a visual prompt and you will have up to one thousand words to tell the story that you are inspired to write … using your imagination as the canvas and language as your brush. I quite liked the inspirational image taken by Amy Bassin of around a dozen women of differing ages and cultures and was sparked by the idea that we are all the same and facing common environmental problems.
