The Seventeenth is now out as an ebook or paperback, currently from Amazon. It’s a layered story that has crime elements, a cozy romance, and some cute ghosts, so it has paranormal aspects. I’ve had to make it 18+ because the themes are a mix of Thomas Harris’ The Silence of the Lambs, Stephen King’s The Outsider, and J.D. Robb (Nora Robert’s) The Witness, and there are some very dark passages in it.

It’s about 260 pages and it is where I introduce my new fictional character, Detective Inspector John Bagshaw, an Australian Federal Police Officer who helps the protagonist, Mike, get justice for the seventeenth.

The Abstract: To escape her secretly monstrous husband, a serial killer, Miriam reinvents herself in the quirky town of Two Rivers. She unexpectedly finds a connection with Mike, a police analyst haunted by ghosts.
