Felicity Dowker can write
For all those who have not yet experienced the works of Ms Felicity Dowker, I have to say that they should seriously chase up some of her work. She’s good – a new Australian talent – and she can spin a yarn or two. I have had the pleasure to read two of her submissions – one which may well make it into ASIM (in my mind it’s bound to get picked up soon) and the other was a really dark tale that will be out soon too, and I have to say it was good in the way it made me squirm, and make my lip curl uncomfortable over a sandwich as a dark takle should. But don’t think that she’s all dark – the ASIM piece is gold, really very enjoyable in that great story telling kind of way.
But hey, don’t take my word for it – go and subscibe to ASIM and start buying the mags, you’ll see her soon enough, and if that’s not enough there’s a web site she has, called Let There Be Tygers. I’ve linked her to my site, so look to the right – she’s there, Go on, click on it and have a read of everything she has to say. Did I say she’s good? She’s really good.
